A lot of Russian women dream to marry a foreigner – a man from USA, UK, Australia, Germany or Sweden. In general, if they would have a choice to get married to Russian or Western men, they would choose the last one. So, what are the main reasons Russian girls and women strive to meet a foreigner for love and marriage?
- Financial reasons.
- Wants to live outside Russia – in a country where higher living standards are.
- Greater choice of men.
It is not a secret that average personal income level in Russia is very low. But every woman wants to live comfortably. She wants to have enough money so her needs are satisfied. Some of Russian women main purpose is to marry a rich foreigner. The love is not the main reason in this case. Of course, not all women are the same. There are women who look for both wealthy men and love. They want to meet and fall in love with a rich foreigner.
There are women who live in small villages, where are not enough men to choose from for marriage. They think that foreigners, in general, are better than Russian men. Many Russian men like drinking alcoholic drinks; their wage is so small that they are not able to support their family. Moreover, there is a high rate of unemployment in small cities, in country.
Marriage with a man from USA, US or other English speaking country is a solution to financial problems and a gateway to better life.
There are also Russian women (they are minority) that seek a foreign man thinking only how to get more money from him. These women don’t want to marry any foreigner, but they pretend they would like to meet a man for love and marriage. Sometimes even they have a husband or friend they live together with.
